New Student Orientation

Join us for our annual New Student Orientation at McCormick Junior High School! 🏫 We're excited to welcome new students and help them get acquainted with the school environment.

Event Details:

• Date: August 11th, 2026
• Location: 6000 Education Dr, Cheyenne, WY 82009-3991, United States

Schedule:

• Morning Session: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Last names A-M)
  • Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Pizza & Water)
• Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM (Last names N-Z)
  • Lunch: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

Activities Include:

• Meeting teachers and staff 👩‍🏫
• Team-building activities 🤝
• Scavenger hunt 🔍
• Getting to know new peers and reconnecting with old friends

Important Notes:

• Parents/guardians are not permitted to attend.
• Students can be dropped off or take a bus from elementary sites. 🚌
• A bus schedule will be shared in our August newsletter.
• For any nutritional needs outside of the provided lunch, please arrange to pick up your student before lunch for the morning session or drop them off after lunch for the afternoon session.
• Students are encouraged to stay off personal electronic devices during the event. For urgent contact, please call MJHS at 307-221-2650.
• Schedules will be distributed during Schedule Pick Up/Registration on August 12th and 13th.
