Parque Bela Vista: Weekly FastForest® Meetup

🇬🇧 Join our weekly nurturing sessions with our Forest Guardians. We gather together to ensure our plants have the water and nutrients they need to flourish, while managing the native space to help our local ecosystem thrive.

Why join us? This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your community, learn about Portuguese native species, and contribute to a greener Lisbon.
Plus, spending time in the soil is good for you. Research shows that microorganisms found in soil can help release serotonin—the "happiness hormone"—in our brains. Come get your free dose of nature-led joy!

What we will be doing
Our activities change with the seasons but generally include:

• Nurturing: Watering and providing nutrients to young trees.
• Maintenance: Careful weeding and pruning to support growth.
• Biodiversity: Removing invasive species to give our native plants space to breathe.
• The Horta: Seasonal work in our community vegetable garden.

Event Details

• When: Every Saturday at 10:00 to 13:00
• Meeting Point: Floresta Urbana do Vale do Casal Vistoso
• What to bring: A reusable water bottle and sun protection.
• What we provide: All necessary gloves, tools, and plenty of positive energy!
