ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

JC Gonzo (b. Juan Carlos Gonzalez, USA) is an artist, writer, and filmmaker originally from Anthony, New Mexico. From 2020 through 2023, Gonzo published the Southwest artist-showcase zine, Cuidado, for which he received a Fulcrum Fund Award in 2022. His work has been exhibited in various prestigious locations including the New Mexico Museum of Art and the Sanitary Tortilla Factory. In 2024, he was an artist in residence at The Ranch Residency in La Madera, New Mexico.
