
The Malvazinec Cemetery, situated in the district known as Upper Smíchov, is the largest burial ground in Prague on the left bank of the Vltava River. The cemetery serves as the final resting place of many notable personalities, especially from the world of culture, art, literature and music, such as Jakub Arbes, Ferenc Futurista, Jiří Karásek from Lvovice, Růžena Vacková or Ondřej Sekora. Its charm is underlined by numerous works of art, magnificent tombs and mature trees.
