Originally known as Divide, Rats of Gomorrah was formed in 2009 in Kiel, Germany, by Daniel Stelling (guitar, vocals) and Moritz Paulsen (drums, backing vocals; also i Frost, Pisse & Elend). They adopted their new name in 2023, and have been a duo since 2017, creating a focused sound. Expect fast, aggressive death metal with thrash, crust, and punk elements, along with occasional doom and melodic death metal influences.
