This photographic installation highlights the emotional turmoil of feeling like an outsider in Swedish society. Using the metaphor of traffic signs obscured by construction, the exhibition addresses the complex feelings of confusion and dislocation faced by immigrants. 🏙️
Visitors will traverse through evocative images and sounds from Iran and Sweden, experiencing the nuanced interplay of belonging and displacement. 🎧
Farshid Nasrabadi is a Stockholm-based photographer with an architectural background, exploring themes of displacement and the Iranian diaspora through analog photography. His work has been featured in prominent spaces such as the Malmö Konstmuseum and the Venice Biennale.
