Rewind attempts to make sense during the direct aftermath of a physically altering accident, through the manipulation of the direction of time and the altering of a personal photo archive. Tresse de Méduse explores the petrifying effects of the gaze of the other, using the antique craft of ‘hårarbete’ to fashion snakes out of hair as a talisman for the reclamation of women’s place in public space.Rio Drop lives and works in Örebro, Sweden. She obtained her Bachelor of Art from the Royal Academy of Fine Art The Hague. Her practice extends over different media, most frequently assemblage, sculptural form, installation, and video. Human hair is a recurring material and subject, exploring women's presence in public space, loss and resilience. With financial support/Med stöd från Region Örebro LänSveriges Konstföreningar + Kulturrådet
