Salsa at Brooklyn Basin

Salsa at Brooklyn Basin is a weather-dependent outdoor salsa and bachata social, typically held Sundays from 3 PM to 7 PM on the Brooklyn Basin waterfront boardwalk at Township Commons in Oakland.

Brooklyn Basin Salsa hosts DJ-led social dancing on a large wooden waterfront deck with bench seating nearby. A food stand is close to the dance area, and Brotzeit Lokal is about a five-minute walk away.

Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Check organizer updates for weather cancellations. The boardwalk is about a 15-minute walk from Lake Merritt BART, with a bus stop on Embarcadero at Brooklyn Plaza.
