Sam Eastmond & The Composers Workshop Big Band

Known for his large ensemble work with the legendary John Zorn, Eastmond has made significant contributions to the music scene by arranging and recording Zorn’s masterpieces in Masada Books Two and Three and The Bagatelles.

Sam Eastmond leads and curates the Composers Workshop Big Band, an innovative platform for fresh big band music that defies conventions. The ensemble is formed by some of London’s most talented and daring young musicians, including members and alumni of NYJO, Tomorrow's Warriors, and esteemed music colleges worldwide. The Workshop serves as a creative incubator for developing cutting-edge and artistic works, free from commercial constraints.
