About the Artists

Samirah Evans is a renowned vocalist whose style echoes the vibrant sounds of New Orleans. With a career that took off at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and spans multiple continents, she's shared the stage with legends such as James Brown, B.B. King, and Aaron Neville. After Hurricane Katrina, she moved to Vermont and formed Samirah Evans and Her Handsome Devils, gaining popularity across New England.

Wanda L. Houston, a dynamic performer, leads several music projects and has a rich history of performances on Broadway, film, and TV. Her collaborations include icons like Michael Jackson and Patti LaBelle. Now based in the Southern Berkshires, she shares her unique blend of Jazz, R&B, and Blues, along with an upcoming documentary titled Unfinished Song set for 2027 release.
