
Screen Printing Open Session
🧵 Prerequisite: You MUST complete the SP 101: Intro to Vera's Screen Print Studio class before signing up for an Open Session!
Join us for four-hour Open Sessions at Vera’s Screen Print Studio! In these sessions, participants who have completed the introductory class can utilize our fully equipped screen print lab to bring their creative projects to life. Each Open Session is supervised by a volunteer moderator who can offer advice and guidance on techniques taught in the SP 101 class.
🎟️ Tickets Available:
- Vacuum Table: Perfect for paper and other flat media.
- T-shirt Press: Ideal for printing on shirts, tote bags, and various fabrics.
- Screen Prep: For dedicated screen preparation work.
Each ticket type is limited to two per purchase. If your desired ticket type is sold out, be sure to add yourself to the waitlist to receive notifications when a spot opens up!
🛠️ What We Provide:
- Rentable screens
- Emulsion and emulsion remover
- Squeegees
- Basic tools: spatulas, rulers, tape, etc.
🔧 What You Need to Bring:
- Your own substrate (paper, t-shirts, etc.)
- Water-based ink (Vera does not allow the use of non-water-based inks).

❓ FAQs:
- Can Vera print a transparent stencil for me?
Yes! Just send your stencil as a .PDF file (max 12" x 18") at least 24 hours prior to your session. Stencils are $5 each, payable on arrival. - Need direct assistance on projects?
Our moderators can help with topics from the SP 101 class. For one-on-one guidance, please email matt@theveraproject.org to request private tutoring. - What if I can’t find a slot during Open Sessions?
Our studio is in high demand. If sold out, please check back or consider private rental by contacting matt@theveraproject.org.
