Second Thursday Poetry Celebrates 15 Years!

Join us for BookWoman's Second Thursday Poetry Reading and Open Mic! This special event features:

🌟 Lisha Adela Garcia - A celebrated San Antonio poet and author of several poetry collections, including Prayers to the Saint of Impossible Situations and Blood Rivers. Lisha has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and is dedicated to fostering creative expression through her workshops and community initiatives.

🌟 Cindy Huyser - Author of Cartography and co-editor of Bearing the Mask: Southwestern Persona Poems. Cindy has received multiple Pushcart Prize nominations and is a featured author in the upcoming Texas Book Festival.

🗣️ Co-hosted by Julia Ross with an open mic to follow!
