Silent Book Club Session n. 42 - Tempelhofer Feld!

This event takes place in Tempelhofer Feld!
Meet us at 6:30pm at the park entrance of the Schillerkiez. Then we'll have a nice outdoor reading session – and a beer or a drink in the park for those who want to stay for a while!
Agenda:
18:30-18:50 - Arrival, greetings, warming up
18:50-19:40 - Quiet reading
19:40-20:30 - Chatting and sharing thoughts about our books
20:30-22:30 - Drinking, eating, picnicking

About Location:

• we will walk a short way into the park (under 5 minutes)
• we sit on the grass, please bring what you need to hang out comfortably for 2 hours
• bring drinks and snacks
• for bathrooms, use the public toilets of Tempelhofer Feld

This is a group for people who are interested in participating in weekday evening Silent Book Club-like events in West Berlin.
What is a Silent Book Club? Well, in a nutshell, it works like this:
✒ Sign up for the next event
📕 Bring the book you are reading (any book is welcome!)
🚶🏾‍♀🚶🏼 Go to the meeting place
👋🏼 Say hello to the people gathered there and chat a bit
🛋 When the time comes, make yourself comfortable
📖 Dive deep into your book, quietly, while everyone around you does the same
⌛ After about 45-50 minutes of reading, if you wish, share your thoughts about the book with your fellow readers
🫂 Say goodbye
🔄 Repeat!
The events take place in Cafés, Parks or Libraries around Schöneberg and Kreuzberg, and last for about two hours, around the time people get out from work (6 or 7 pm). All events are free of charge. If we host at a café, we would kindly ask you to order something from the counter to make sure our hosts keep liking us! ☕💜
The idea of Silent Book Clubs was born in the USA, but has since spread all over the world, and Berlin itself is home to several groups and events inspired by it.
