Formed during a spontaneous jam at a Halloween party in 2009, this punk/rock/pop band originally began as a duo consisting of stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse from Oklahoma City. The band's dynamic took shape in 2017 when Kelli's brother, Kurtis Mayo, joined on drums, allowing Peyton and Kelli to thrive on their instruments. With influences from ‘70s punk and ‘90s alt-rock, Skating Polly crafts their unique sound inspired by legends like Johnny Cash.
