Are you looking for an opportunity to use your skills for good, and meet other like-minded people who care?
We’re piloting the Skills for Good Sprint, a half-day, hands-on experience where Bay Area professionals bring their skills to bear on real challenges local nonprofits face every day.
For this first sprint, we’re tackling grant writing with AI. Nonprofit staff will come with real proposals they’re working on, and you’ll help them use AI tools to sharpen their narratives, tailor their applications to funders, and tell stronger stories about their work.
You don’t need to be an AI expert. You need to be curious, collaborative, and eager to help.
Here’s what the day looks like:
12:00–12:15 pm: Doors open, get settled, and meet the room
12:15–1:30 pm: Welcome and Framing, including hearing from funders and discussing how we'll use AI
1:30–3:00 pm: Hands-on Working Session in Small Groups
3:00–4:00 pm: Share Outs, Key Takeaways, and Closing
