What is Knit Painting? 🤔
Knit painting involves using the duplicate stitch technique on knit pieces to create stunning images, text, or designs. Don't worry if you're new—this workshop is beginner-friendly! 🧶 We'll provide knit squares and a variety of designs for you to craft your own unique knit patch. Check out some inspiring knit painting examples here, here, and here. ✨

Expect a cozy vibe as you craft alongside others at our long, communal, handmade-in-Brooklyn art/craft table. Each session feels like hanging out at a friend's apartment, where we take care of the materials and guide you through the basics as the music lifts you up! 🎶

Our focus is on process, play, and community, with conversation prompts to spark connections. 💬

Getting Here

The venue is a charming, hidden art studio located at 20 Grand Ave, Brooklyn, on the 6th floor of a commercial building! 📍 When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open, and take the elevator up. Press the button until it turns red! 🚪 Once you exit, take a right, then a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
