About the event

🌞 Join us for a delightful summer morning of birdwatching!

Discover year-round residents and local breeding species like the Yellow-throated Warbler and Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Keep your eyes peeled for fledglings such as the Chipping Sparrow and Cooper’s Hawk! 🐦

🎒 What to Bring:

  • Binoculars 🔍
  • Dress appropriately for the weather! 🌤️

The leisurely walk mostly follows the road surface, with occasional off-trail ventures into the grass. This event is perfect for all ages!

📍 Meeting Point:
Eichelberger Plaza at the main gates of the cemetery.

🌿 Your nature guide for the day will be Amanda Lawson, an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist.

A suggested donation of $5 is appreciated. All donations support the Woodland Arboretum Foundation, dedicated to cultural resources in Dayton and Ohio.
