Join us for Summer Focus: Scene into Song, an engaging five-week course designed to sharpen your improv skills through music! Because the beach is great for weekends, but this summer, focus on enhancing your craft with us!

What to Expect:

• Focused sessions filled with laughter and learning with AndAlso Improv
• Plenty of stage time and practical feedback
• Collaboration with fellow improvisers from the AndAlso community

Under the guidance of Jen Rowe and Alan Grice (on keys), this course dives into the essentials of turning improvised scenes into songs. You'll explore:

• Rhyme, phrasing, and song structure
• How to craft songs from scenes, ensuring your character shines through
• Musical tools like harmony and rhythm to boost your confidence on stage

This course is perfect for improvisers who have some experience in musical improv and want to deepen their understanding. If you’ve completed our Intro to Musical Improv or a similar program, you're set to join us!

The course culminates in a voluntary showcase at the Lantern Theatre where you can display your newly honed skills to family and friends. Let’s create songs that resonate!
