Summer Teen Group Therapy Workshops (Ages 13-17)

This Summer, Give Your Child a Space to Feel, Connect, and GrowSummer is more than a break from school — it's a chance for kids and teens to slow down, check in with themselves, and build skills that last far beyond the classroom. This summer, Quail Lakes Community Counseling is excited to introduce new weekly group workshop series designed to do exactly that. Each session is completely self-contained, so teens can join any week — no commitment required.What happens in group?Every session is built around a different theme — things like understanding emotions, navigating friendships, managing stress, and discovering personal strengths. Kids and teens explore these topics through art, movement, music, games, and real conversation. There are no lectures, no worksheets to grade, and no wrong answers. Just a warm, supportive space where young people get to be exactly who they are.For teens, the work goes a little deeper — exploring identity, building self-awareness, learning how to communicate and set boundaries, and developing a personal toolkit for managing the hard stuff life throws at them.Why group?Something powerful happens when young people realize they're not alone in what they're feeling. Group gives teens the chance to be heard, to hear others, and to practice the social and emotional skills that matter most — in real time, with real peers.Our groups are facilitated by associate clinicians (Supervised by a Licensed Therapist) at Quail Lakes Community.
