Swim to the Wreck - THE ORIGINAL

Join us for THE ORIGINAL Swim to the Wreck! On Independence Day morning, we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday with a swim to the S.S. Breconshire (also known as the Boiler Wreck) followed by a champagne toast around the flag posted on the wreck.

🎉 Event Highlights:

• A quarter-mile swim to the wreck
• Join around 1,000 participants in this 20-year-old tradition
• Bring your floats, kayaks, or paddleboards (we'll need some to carry the champagne!)
• Masks and snorkels are welcome!
• Family-friendly atmosphere with kids encouraged to join

🛑 Important Reminder: Please DO NOT STAND ON THE WRECK! This historic site deserves to be enjoyed for generations to come.

📍 Location:
Meet on the beach directly behind the Ocean Grill or Coste d'Este, with plenty of parking at Sexton Plaza.

🍹 This is a BYOB event, but there’s usually enough to go around if you forget! No RSVP is needed; just show up with your swimsuits, paddles, and a fun spirit!
