Info: Formidable quartet The Blood Arm has reunited to digitally launch their critically acclaimed 2004 debut album, Bomb Romantics, available for the first time in over twenty years starting July 17, 2026. Celebrate this momentous occasion at Berlin's historic Schokoladen!
Founded in Los Angeles in 2002, Nathaniel met guitarist Zebastian Carlisle at a karaoke bar, leading to the addition of classically-trained pianist Dyan Valdés on keys and microbiology student Zachary Amos on drums. Known for their enthusiastic and immersive performances, The Blood Arm was hailed as the 'Best Live Act' at the SXSW Music Conference by Entertainment Weekly in 2005, and was celebrated as Franz Ferdinand's "favorite band" after an unforgettable after show in 2004.
Their album, Bomb Romantics, was a self-funded effort recorded in a garage studio over a weekend, leading to widespread acclaim from the likes of NME and DIY. It captures the essence and raw energy of the band, marking a significant milestone in their journey.
They have garnered continued support from notable outlets including The Guardian and Clash Magazine, and have built a remarkable live music reputation, performing at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.

"Two decades on, this isn't just a reissue. It's a long-overdue reunion with a record that captured lightning in a garage and refused to fade quietly. Plug in, turn it up, and welcome 'Bomb Romantics' back into the world." - Culture Addicts
