Dive into a queer-led journey that explores the whimsical world of the animist, interdependent, relational clown! What does this mean for you? It's all about returning to our most human qualities—the vibrant essence we had as children.
This unique practice intertwines:
- Animism: Recognizing that everything is alive enough to matter
- Interdependence: Understanding that nothing happens alone
- Relationality: Knowing that meaning-making is a shared experience
We honor the present with a consent-forward, playful, and uplifting approach, where we understand that the impact can outpace our intentions. Throughout this immersive experience, we'll explore our relationships with ourselves, one another, and the world through a series of playful experiments and games designed to foster deeper connections.
Together, we'll cultivate self-trust and embrace the discomfort of stepping beyond cultural binaries. The Sacred Fool will guide us courageously through our vulnerabilities and mishaps—after all, it's okay to fail; it's essential to practice failing forward towards profound connections.
Expect to:
- Develop new skills to handle uncomfortable conversations
- Foster deepening relationships and manage stressful situations
- Connect with new friends and allies, all while having a blast! 💪🤡
Logistics:
- Interactive and immersive experience over two days, with two 5-hour sessions (30-minute break included)
- Light snacks will be provided, along with seating, yoga mats, and access to the cafe next door for additional drinks and food.
What to Bring:
- Water bottle
- Journal/paper and pen
- Comfortable clothing for movement
- Any personal snacks (optional)
- An item for the Altar of the Sacred Fool (small tokens reminding you of your inner child)
