The Third Room

The Third Room opens Callie’s sound studio to the public for the first time, inviting audiences into an intimate space where experimental composers present work in progress. The series concludes with Mariam Rezaei, a composer, turntablist, and performer working across experimental new music, free improvisation, mutant club music, and hip-hop. Using a digital vinyl system, Rezaei manipulates an expansive range of samples in real time, combining classic turntablist skills with her own extended techniques.
