Valpo Creates Camp

🌟 The Valparaiso Creative Council (VCC) is excited to unveil the second annual Valpo Creates Camp, an inspiring youth initiative aimed at igniting creativity and artistic exploration in Valparaiso! Building on the success of last year’s collaboration with the YMCA, we’re thrilled to welcome the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana (Valparaiso Campus) and Hilltop Neighborhood House this year.

🗓️ Camp Schedule: June 2025

• Wednesdays: Boys & Girls Club
• Thursdays: Hilltop
• Fridays: YMCA

👯‍♂️Theater with Memorial Opera House
Dates: June 4, 5, and 6
Campers will dive into performance skills and collaborate to create a unique skit in this immersive theater experience.

💃Dance with Indiana Ballet Theatre
Dates: June 11, 12, and 13
Discover diverse dance styles and express personal movement in our guided workshops.

🎨Visual Arts with Stargirl Crafts
Dates: June 18, 19, and 20
Explore vibrant colors and craft a summer-themed art project to take home!

🎶Music with South Shore Orchestra
Dates: June 25, 26, and 27
Engage with various musical instruments in our fun Instrument Petting Zoo!

🏡 Each creative partner will rotate across the three sites to ensure every camper at Hilltop Neighborhood House, YMCA, and Boys & Girls Club can experience all artistic disciplines!

📞 Interested campers should reach out directly to each organization for registration details and availability. Please note that participation is limited to those enrolled in summer camp programs at the host locations.

🤝 This initiative thrives on the generosity of community donors, partners, and talented local artists dedicated to inspiring the next generation of creators!
