
Woodland Historic Tour
Join us for a fascinating journey through Woodland Cemetery, founded in 1841, making it one of the oldest rural cemeteries in the United States. ๐๏ธ Discover the final resting places of notable figures such as the Wright Brothers, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Erma Bombeck, and many more famous and infamous Daytonians.
Meeting Point: Eichelberger Plaza at the main gates of the cemetery.

- Parking is available inside and outside the gates. ๐
- Please wear comfortable walking shoes and feel free to bring a water bottle. ๐ง
- Tours will proceed rain or shine, except in cases of thunder or lightning.
All tours require a reservation, and there is a suggested donation of $5. All donations support the Woodland Arboretum Foundation, focused on restoration, preservation, and educational projects, ensuring that Woodland remains a cultural resource for Dayton and Ohio. ๐ฟ
