A cash mob is a special gathering at a designated business for the purpose of making purchases and boosting local economic support!

Do I need cash?
Not at all! All shops accept both cash and major credit cards. The term "cash mob" originated from a NY blogger in 2011, aimed at supporting local businesses needing immediate assistance.

What can I expect?
Be ready to eat, shop, and uplift local entrepreneurs! At our You Belong Here Cash Mob, you'll find a wide array of offerings from food, shopping, and services at Karmel Mall.

When should I show up?
Feel free to pop in anytime between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM! If you can't make it during those hours, the businesses are eager to welcome you at another time.

Where can I park?
There’s metered street parking available on Lake Street. (A helpful graphic will be shared soon under "Discussion")

What safety measures will be in place?
Lake Street Council volunteers will be present to greet all community supporters. Please note that photos or videos of individuals without their consent are strictly prohibited.

Do I need a ticket to attend?
No ticket is necessary! However, tickets help the businesses prepare for visitors and gauge attendance success.

This Cash Mob is brought to you by the Lake Street Council, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the vibrancy and prosperity of Lake Street in Minneapolis.
