About City Winery New York
City Winery New York is the flagship location of City Winery, a chain combining a working urban winery, restaurant and intimate live-music venue, founded by Michael Dorf (also founder of the Knitting Factory). It first opened in Manhattan in 2008 at 155 Varick Street in Hudson Square, and after that lease ended in 2019 relocated to a 32,000-square-foot space inside the redeveloped Pier 57 on the Hudson River, reopening in April 2021. Wine is fermented and bottled on-site, and guests can pair house-made wines and chef-prepared food with concerts across an intimate main hall and loft space.
