About Islington Assembly Hall

Islington Assembly Hall is a Grade II-listed 1930s art-deco hall beside Islington Town Hall on Upper Street, built in 1929. After decades dormant it was restored by Islington Council and reopened in 2010 with its original sprung dance floor preserved. The council-owned, not-for-profit venue holds around 950 and has hosted Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol, Foo Fighters and the Kerrang! Awards.
