About Subzero Prague

Subzero is an independent, DIY live music club in the basement of Eternia Smíchov, in Prague's Smíchov district (Praha 5). Opened in April 2025 and built largely by volunteers, it has fast become a home for the city's underground and heavy scenes — booking everything from metalcore, hardcore and post-rock to darkwave, post-punk, crust and alt-pop, with both Czech and touring international acts. Expect an intimate, low-ceilinged room, a no-frills community atmosphere, late club nights and DJ parties, and even its own house beer (a Subzero American Red IPA brewed by Clock).
