Based in the vibrant city of New York, Brian has become a standout figure in the world of modern jazz. A proud endorser for Hammond U.S.A, Hammond Europe, I.K. Multimedia, and Casio, he stands out as a celebrated artist under Cellar Live.
🌟 Currently, Brian is ranked #2 in the 2024 Downbeat Critics’ Poll for organ and #6 for keyboards, showcasing his extraordinary talent. He was also the recipient of the 2014 Downbeat Critics’ Poll ‘Rising Star: Organ’ award and the 2015 Hot House Magazine 'Fan's Decision Jazz Award for Best Organist'.
His latest album, Jackpot, recorded at the legendary Rudy Van Gelder studio, features the exceptional Bill Stewart on drums and has received accolades, including 4 stars from Downbeat! During its run on the Jazzweek radio chart, it reached #9 and remained there for six consecutive weeks.
📜 In addition to his performance, Charette is known for his compositions with prestigious ensembles including The Jazz Dock Orchestra in Prague and The Modern Art Orchestra in Budapest.
