Lucie Rosenfeldová & Matěj Pavlík: Chaos Therapy

Join us for an intriguing exhibition featuring Lucie Rosenfeldová’s On The Management of Doubt (2014), which is the first of two thought-provoking videos on display. This piece reflects a time when technology promised self-management and improvement, creating a sense of order in an unpredictable world. Fast forward ten years, and the second video, a fresh collaboration with Matěj Pavlík, explores the evolving dynamics between ourselves and the technological constructs around us.

As reality becomes increasingly unpredictable, our traditional systems for handling uncertainty, such as climate models and economic forecasts, fall short.

Chaos Therapy encourages us to rethink our approach—shifting from eliminating uncertainty to embracing the chaos inherent in our culture and technology. Just like the automatic drawings shown in Pavlík's new photographic prints, this exhibition invites you to navigate through the unpredictability of modern life.
