Marine Biodiversity and Ocean Health Breakthrough Workshop

Über die Veranstaltung

The Marine Biodiversity and Ocean Health Breakthrough was launched at COP29 as the first sector-wide maritime initiative to integrate ocean health, ecosystem resilience, and decarbonisation into a single framework. This closed expert workshop brings together practitioners from across shipping, ocean conservation, finance, and policy to review progress against the Breakthrough Roadmap, test its ambitions, and agree priority actions for the period leading to COP32.
The session is an opportunity to celebrate what the sector has achieved, strengthen shared commitments, and ensure the Roadmap remains a credible and practical tool for collective action through to 2030.
Please note that this event has limited capacity, with hybrid access available to a select group of remote attendees.
