South Orange Rescue Squad 5K Race & Community Open House

Get ready for an exciting day at the 2026 "Sound The Siren" 5K! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
Join us for a morning filled with fun activities, where you can run or walk the 5K (or choose a shorter 1.3 mile route). Afterward, everyone is welcome to explore our ambulances, equipment, and headquarters, and learn more about EMS in the South Orange and Maplewood communities.

• 5K Run / Walk: Start your day with a refreshing 5K run or walk at 8:30 AM!
• Kids Fun Run: Complimentary for little ones at 9:30 AM! 🧒
• EMS Community Open House: Open for everyone to join, for free! 🏥

Indulge in delicious free treats like gourmet waffles, Dunkin' doughnuts, coffee, bagels, and much more! ☕🥞🍩

Enjoy a variety of free activities and fun face painting for the kids! 🎨

All proceeds from this event will support our mission of providing essential Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to South Orange, Maplewood, and surrounding communities. 🚑
