Textile Art on Canvas

Join us for an immersive experience in mixed-media art, where you'll create a richly textured artwork by layering various fabrics onto a canvas board! 🎉

✨ What to Expect:

• Choose a simple design: florals, landscapes, silhouettes, or abstracts—let your creativity flow!
• Lightly sketch your layout on the canvas to guide your fabric placement.
• Gather a selection of vibrant fabrics with a mix of colors, patterns, and textures. Cut or tear them into shapes, allowing frayed edges to add charm and movement.
• Use fabric glue or matte medium to adhere your pieces, starting from the background and building up. Overlap to create depth!
• Enhance your artwork with smaller fabric pieces, embroidery threads, buttons, or trims, adding texture and personality to your unique creation.

• All materials are included! Just bring your own mug for your drink. ☕

💰 Pricing Options:

• Single Session: £12.50
• Full Month (all Wednesday workshops): £45

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Adults Only: All participants must be 18 or over.
• Booking is essential; walk-ins cannot be accepted. Full payment is required to secure your spot. Refunds or transfers are not available if you can’t attend, unless we can fill your space.

📍 Location:
The Cellar, Brunel Shopping Centre, Somerton, Somerset
(Near the pet shop, opposite the hairdressers, and situated underground. Note: There is no disabled access, but two large handrails are available for assistance.)

🚗 Parking:
Ample free parking is available near the library and Co‑op. Please check for restrictions.

🎨 Wear something old or that you don’t mind getting stained, as we dive into the playful world of colors and textures!
