A Pre-Summer Gathering for NYC Psychotherapists in Private Practice
You spend your days holding space for everyone else.
But being a therapist in private practice can also feel really isolating.
Many of us are building businesses, navigating burnout, figuring out marketing, adapting to changes in the mental health industry, and trying to stay grounded in meaningful clinical work — often without many spaces to openly talk about it with peers who truly get it.
And lately, the field feels like it’s changing fast.
The way people seek support is evolving. Wellness culture is evolving. The business side of therapy is evolving. And many therapists are quietly trying to figure out what sustainable, values-aligned work looks like in the middle of all of it. Should you get into coaching? Can you run groups? Should you take more insurance??
Before summer schedules scatter us, Restority Space is hosting an evening for psychotherapists in NYC to gather, connect, and talk honestly about the realities of private practice today.
This is a thoughtful space to meet other therapists, exchange ideas, share resources, and be in conversation with people navigating similar questions around clinical work, business growth, identity, sustainability, and the future of the field.

Hosted by Fanny Tristan, trauma therapist. coach, and founder of Restority Space, who has been in private practice for the past 7 years and credits much of her growth, opportunities, and support to the relationships and community she’s built along the way.

Expect:
Connection with other NYC psychotherapists in private practice
Casual conversations about the changing landscape of mental health and wellness
Space to exchange ideas, resources, and experiences
Light bites + beverages
A warm, intimate atmosphere at Fabrik
Whether you’re newly building your practice or years into the work, this gathering is an opportunity to reconnect with community before the summer begins.
Space will be intentionally limited to keep the experience personal and conversational.
