Über die Veranstaltung

With the support of Avenue 33 Farm, Cultivating Farmers is excited to invite you to a workshop focused on crop planning and the basics of farm finances.
This workshop is designed to help urban farmers build confidence in crop planning fundamentals, including goal setting, crop selection, scheduling, and resource management. Our goal is to support you in optimizing crop production and preparing for different sales channels. We’ll also provide practical guidance on aligning your planting strategies with market demand and local growing conditions for successful seasons ahead.
Finally, we’ll dive into key financial concepts, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Participants will learn how to organize and interpret financial records to support informed decision-making, strengthen day-to-day farm management, and communicate more effectively with external partners, including lenders.
