🌿 Volunteer Day: Removing Invasive Plants + Planting Native at Reynoldstown Memorial Park 🌿

Über die Veranstaltung

Join us for a hands-on volunteer morning at the gorgeous Reynoldstown Memorial Park! 🌳 We’ll be dedicated to removing invasive plant species in efforts to restore our local ecosystem and create a thriving space for native plants.

This is more than just a workday; it’s an enriching experience! We’re excited to have Jeremiah Wood, the leader of our local Georgia Native Plant Society (GNPS) pod, guiding our efforts. He will share:
🌱 The impact of invasive plants on local ecosystems
🌱 Native plants that support our wildlife, soil, and pollinators
🌱 Effective methods for identifying and removing invasive species
🌱 Simple actions to boost biodiversity in our homes and neighborhoods

Whether you’re passionate about gardening, ecology, climate action, or just want to spend a fulfilling morning outdoors, this event is perfect for you! 💚
