Safe As Milk Promotions and New Cross Live proudly present this iconic band, which formed in 1985 in Brighton, UK. Their debut single Inside/Blue Suit/Cut caught the attention of legendary DJ John Peel, leading to two memorable Peel Sessions in 1986 and 1987. 🌟

As pioneers of the C86 movement, credited with laying the foundation for Indiepop, the 14 Iced Bears quickly became favorites among fanzines.

In 1988, they released the celebrated EP Come Get Me on the legendary Sarah Records label. That same year saw the launch of their self-titled debut LP, featuring a more psychedelic sound. 🎶

Their dynamic tours have supported acts like Julian Cope, Alex Chilton, and the Velvet Underground. With their second album Wonder released on Thunderball Records in 1991, they’ve established themselves as influences on a generation of musicians.

Though the band parted ways in 1992, they reformed in 2010 due to renewed interest, touring both coasts of the USA. Cherry Red Records then released a comprehensive compilation entitled Hold on Inside. 🥳

After another brief hiatus and a stellar feature in Shindig! magazine, the band reformed yet again, captivating audiences in Sheffield, Paris, London, Glasgow, and Leeds. They’ve shared the stage with The Vaselines, Heavenly, and Miki Berenyi from Lush.
