About the event

Thomas Bush
is a Malmö-based musician from the West Midlands. Drawing from the well of popular music and folk tradition, songs are repeatedly melted and reformed in the live context using whichever materials happen to be at hand. His third album, ‘The Next 60 Years’ was released in 2024 on Jolly Discs, alongside releases by RAP, of which he is one half. Other projects include ‘men scryfa’, which documents the effects of geological stimulus; cATHOLIC CHURGH, a transatlantic acoustic collaboration; and Merula, deconsecrating liturgical material. New releases manifesting in 2026 via Aguirre, Lost Domain, Kashual Plastik and Accidental Meetings.
In other words “droll, digressive threshold-pop, plaintive minimal synth moods and strange rhythm-box geometries … heading deep into the woods and time-dilating free-folk abstraction” (Low Company); “It is the owner of the funny musical character.” (Art into Life)

Severin Black
is an Aberystwyth-born, London-raised and Berlin-residing experimental musician and
composer who primarily works with woodwind, electronics and feedback. Pulling from his
Celtic/London roots, Severin is especially interested in semiotics and the use of space and geography to
evoke memory, utilised through field recording, improvisation and the processing of traditional
acoustic instruments. This has led to performances in the ICA (London), Volksbühne (Berlin), Le
Poisson Rouge (New York), Mission T o Seafarers (Melbourne) and on a giant pipe organ in a
north-east London church. Severin also curates the publishing label and event series Archaic Vaults,
fostering a community around experimental music

s global diaspora and collaborating with peers such
as Pavel Milyakov, Alex Zhang Hungtai, Vanessa Bedoret, Flora Yin-Wong and Chantal Michelle.
