The launch of the album Magic will take place on May 16, 2026, at the Cargo Gallery in Prague, where Acid Row will present the album live in full force for the first time.

Prague stoner doom band Acid Row releases a new album titled Magic – a record that delves deep into the hypnotic mire of slow riffs, nihilism, ritualistic atmosphere, and existential darkness.

Magic is a raw, heavy, and uncompromising recording that balances on the edge between stoner, doom, sludge, and noise rock, without any need to please anyone. The album also loosely follows up on the previous album, whose symbol was a white rabbit – an enticing, unsettling guide on the edge of reality. This time, there is no hesitation on the edge: the rabbit hole opens wide and the fall is inevitable. Magic is the sound of falling into the unknown – without light, without a way back, and without the illusion of control.

The album thematically deals with the illusion of power, the destruction of faith, and magic as both a deception and a tool – not as an escape, but as a weapon. The sound is denser, darker, and more focused than ever before, with an emphasis on repetition, pressure, and the gradual absorption of the listener.

Acid Row has long been a prominent name on the domestic heavy underground scene. The band is known for its uncompromising approach, dark aesthetics, and energetic concerts that leave no stone unturned in the club.
