In this intensive 8-hour sprint, you'll fork a custom open-source framework using Cursor & Claude to build your ultimate risk manager. It connects directly to your Alpaca paper account to evaluate your trade theses, apply Soros's macro/reflexivity frameworks, and enforce ironclad discipline.
By the end of the day, your system will:
Evaluate: Ingest macro data to pressure-test your trade ideas via Claude.
Enforce: Act as a programmable "bouncer" between you and the broker — enforcing the trading discipline for you.
Execute: Submit automated paper orders to Alpaca only when your strict rules are met.
Monitor: Track position health scores and P&L in a local dashboard.
The 30-Day Crucible (The Competition) Building it is just step one. At the end of the sprint, all agents will be locked in and forward-tested in a live paper-trading environment for exactly one month.
We aren't just tracking raw P&L—we are tracking discipline.
The winner will be judged on risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ratio) and adherence to their own risk frameworks. The winner will be crowned one month post-event.
