About the event

AI is already shaping your child's education. This workshop is your chance to get in the conversation.
AI Unlocked: Parents Edition is a free, 3 hour hands-on virtual workshop for NYC public school parents and caregivers who want to understand artificial intelligence — without needing any tech background.
Hosted by Women TechExchange (WTX) in partnership with the NYC Public Schools CS Education Team, this session gives you practical, hands-on experience using AI as a thought partner and a learning tool — the same roles it's already playing in your child's world.
In 3 hours, you will:
Try AI tools in real time — no experience needed
Learn how to structure conversations with AI so it actually works for you
Build language and confidence to talk about AI with your child
Connect with other NYC parents navigating the same questions
