🦁 About Bee Taylor
Bee Taylor is a force of nature. Author Silas House describes her as "a once-in-a-generation talent whose live shows have become legendary for those who have attended them. Now, her debut studio album will allow the world to witness that power."
Ounstage, she is equal parts lioness and songbird — sometimes stalking the space as a mesmerizing performer who dances, sings, plays instruments, and draws audiences surging closer to the stage, eager to be near the fire that burns so bright. On other songs, she commands center stage in stillness, delivering ballads that hush even the most raucous rooms.
Music-lovers leave her performances as newly converted evangelists, spreading the word far and wide. Her debut studio album, Twenty Seven, features eleven concise, sexy, and powerful songs — all written by Bee herself — delivered with sonic force by her band and produced by Grammy-nominated Duane Lundy (known for his work with Sturgill Simpson, Ringo Starr, Jim James, and more).
🎻 About Ben Sollee
Kentucky musician and composer Ben Sollee has spent nearly two decades blurring musical boundaries. His latest album, Long Haul (2024), weaves together tonal influences from the American and global south, with his signature vocals and unique cello style threading each track into a cohesive journey.
After stepping back from touring following his 2017 album to raise his family and strengthen community ties in Louisville, KY, Sollee — now a father of three — deepened his craft as a composer. His film scoring credits include LAND (directed by Robin Wright) and Maggie Moore(s) (a John Slattery film featuring Tina Fey and Jon Hamm). He also scored the podcast series Unreformed, which received a Peabody Award nomination. Beyond music, Sollee co-founded the non-profit Canopy, supporting Kentucky businesses making a positive impact on their communities and the planet.
