Art, Crémant & Croissants at Marta Djourina's "Blushing"
Following the successful opening of Blushing during Berlin Gallery Weekend, we warmly invite you to join us for the closing event of Marta Djourina’s solo exhibition at FWR Gallery.
Bringing together an entirely new body of works, Blushing continues Djourina’s exploration of light, materiality, and photographic experimentation through works that are both technically precise and emotionally charged.
To mark the closing of the exhibition in a meaningful and intimate way, the morning will begin with an exhibition tour and artist talk, offering insight into Marta’s process, research, and the development of the show.
Then, we enjoy breakfast, drinks & music — to celebrate the exhibition, connect with fellow art lovers, and spend time with the works one last time.
Places are limited, so please register for a spot!
The artist talk will begin at 11:30am.

The Artist
Berlin-based Bulgarian artist Marta Djourina works at the intersection of photography, performance, and experimentation. Through highly technical yet intuitive processes, she investigates the physical behavior of light, creating works that capture fleeting phenomena and transform invisible moments into image.
Her works are part of collections including the Berlinische Galerie, the European Investment Bank Collection, and the Eskenazi Museum of Contemporary Art (USA). Recent exhibitions and presentations include Luxembourg, Brussels, Sofia, and Berlin, alongside the 2025 EMOP Arendt Prize for Photography.

About FWR Gallery
The FWR Gallery (FeldbuschWiesnerRudolph) in Berlin-Mitte was founded in 2006 by Jette Rudolph, Stefanie Feldbusch, and Andreas Wiesner, and focuses on contemporary art through a program of exhibitions, projects, and collaborations with international artists. The gallery presents both established positions and emerging artistic practices that are gaining visibility within the international art market. Rather than following a fixed or homogeneous curatorial agenda, the gallery emphasizes carefully selected positions with clarity, depth, and long-term potential.
