Polyrhythmic futurism, thrash, punk, avalanches of noise, and deconstruction of West-African musical traditions → The blazing avant-rock trio Avalanche Kaito is set to play in Prague for the very first time.

Avalanche Kaito is the exhilarating combination of Burkina Faso born urban griot Kaito Winse and fellow punk experimentalists – Belgian guitarist Nico Gitto and French drummer Benjamin Chaval. This transnational avant-rock trio created waves with their visceral self-titled 2022 debut, bagging notable festival appearances at Supersonic and End of the Road, a KEXP session and much deserved critical and audience enthusiasm.

Avalanche Kaito’s new album Talitakum reveals an energy and spiritual weight that has undoubtedly emerged from the group's incessant touring. Their live shows are indeed revelatory, twisting and turning with an unexpected intensity and collectiveness, spinning freely from ancient griot traditions to full-throttle thrash (with many stops in between).

The night will open with Mocný puch lesa → Ritual ambient music that blends sacred instruments with noise music and humor. Soundscapes inspired by mycorrhizal forest dialogues and mystic ritual practices.
