Badgeworth Open Day

Discover the enchanting world of Badgeworth Reserve, GWT’s first ever nature haven, and meet the rare Adder's-tongue Spearwort, famously known as the Badgeworth Buttercup! 🌸 Due to its rarity, this beautiful site, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), is typically closed to ensure the conservation of this unique flower.

🎉 Once a year, we open our gates to welcome visitors interested in learning about this remarkable reserve and its floral treasures. Our dedicated Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust staff and members of the Badgeworth Management Committee will be present throughout the afternoon to provide guided tours and answer all your questions about the Buttercup and the rich history of the site.

This is a drop-in event, so no need to pre-book! However, if you can let us know you're coming, we would appreciate it!
