Join us for an immersive experience at the
Becoming an Octopus Summer School, where we delve into the imaginaries of water and fluidity. This program invites artists, curators, theorists, and cultural workers to explore two key perspectives:
- Water as an Environment: We’ll understand water not merely as a resource, but as a vessel for rest, storytelling, joy, curiosity, and life.
- Fluidity as Resistance: Discover fluidity as both a survival tactic and an act of resistance in a rigid world.
This interdisciplinary platform will feature a blend of online and offline activities, including:
- Lectures and Artist Talks
- Screenings and Performances
- Hands-on Workshops
- Field Research
Participants will engage in collective and embodied learning, connecting perspectives spanning art, philosophy, spirituality, post-capitalist theory, ecology, gender studies, and posthumanism.
