What to Expect:

This isn’t just another career day; it’s hands-on learning where high school students dive into the veterinary world under the guidance of professionals like you! Engage in:

• Emergency Medicine: Teach CPR, bandaging, blood collection, and diagnosing conditions like parvovirus.
• Forensic Veterinary Medicine: Explore bone identification and blood stain analysis, alongside real-world forensic work.
• General Practice: Demonstrate physical exams, restraint techniques, nail trims, diagnostics, and more.
• Shelter Medicine: Highlight the importance of vaccines, microchipping, and spay/neuter care.
• Surgery: Guide students through surgical prep, suturing techniques, and orthopedics.
• Nutrition: Explain how diet impacts long-term animal health.
