This workshop will guide you through the transformation of an idea into a tangible book. You'll learn about various book sizes, layouts, and get hands-on experience experimenting with different paper stocks and formats. Begin making critical decisions about the structure and sequence of your work, and witness your project evolve into a publishable form.

Our Host:

Em—Dash is a creative studio and press based in South East London, dedicated to experimenting with book forms and playful publishing that covers art practice, design, research, and visual culture. They also explore various media, including curation, film, and radio. The workshops are designed to foster idea sharing, skill development, and collaborative creation. Em—Dash operates under the creative minds of artists and designers Aarushi Matiyani and Saundra Liemantoro.
