Buzoku is one of Barcelona’s longest running crypto gatherings, bringing together builders, researchers, investors, and operators who are shaping the future of cryptocurrency and the broader Web3 ecosystem. The word Buzoku comes from Japanese and means tribe, which captures our intention perfectly. We are building a tribe of humans who learn from one another, support each other, and grow together.
What began as a small circle of founders in Sant Gervasi has evolved into a steady and trusted community. Our format is intentionally casual. We meet at a cocktail bar, reserve a section for our group, and let the night unfold naturally. People share what they are building, make announcements, offer introductions, ask for help, and often continue collaborating long after the meetup ends. There is no stage and no rigid structure. The community decides the flow.
Most importantly, Buzoku is community owned in spirit. This meetup has grown because of the people who show up, bring their energy, and shape what it becomes. We want members to feel empowered to suggest ideas, propose new locations, recommend speakers, or even take on hosting roles. If someone wants to sponsor an evening or experiment with a new format, we welcome it. Buzoku grows through collective participation.
Although the gatherings remain intentionally intimate, we also frequently welcome global guests passing through Barcelona, including notable founders, investors, and thought leaders in the crypto ecosystem. Part of our mission is to make Barcelona a natural waypoint for the people building the future of this industry.
